Hefty Engines and Performance
Here, the Supra has the lesser-powered engine in comparison with BMW. The Z4 M40i is present with the turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. It covers the range of 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds and quarter-mile in 12.3 seconds with a top speed of 116 mph.
2020 Toyota Supra features a turbocharged 3.0 liter-inline six bolted engine with eight-speed automatic transmission. Supra went 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds and covers quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds with a top speed of 112 mph. However, the Toyota Supra is way lighter than the BMW Z4 but they tend to deliver the same performance.
BMW Z4 is quicker in comparison with the Supra as Z4 is more athletic and sporty. Both the model has the same basic suspension with Michelin Pilot Supersport summer tires also they share the same braking mechanicals.
Toyota has a lesser price than the BMW and comes with a price tag of $50,495 which features an 8.8-inch center touchscreen with standard features i.e. Apple car play, heated seats, and prominent audio system, etc.
The price tag on the BMW is higher and costs approximately $64,495 along with a driver assistance package of $500 additional. It offers a $1400 premium package with the remote engine start, stop wireless phone charging, etc. The executive package costs $2500 has some driver assistance features and an updated audio system also it has matte finish gray paint $3,600.
Endearing interiors and exteriors
The Z4 every touche delivers the luxury while Supra has subtle not so luxurious in the segment. Toyota has two drive modes i.e. Normal and Sport. Sport mode comes with the throttle, transmission, steering wheel, exhaust, and a limited-slip differential also it can be customized according to customers. In Traction mode, it has a regular stability control setting also beneficial for those drivers who cross the reasonable limits with launch controls.
The interior is equipped with BMW’s pieces of equipment as Supra comes as an all-black with low light cabin and borderline door. In the center screen, it has designed an odometer and tachometer which is located in the left and right sides of the cluster.
BMW Z4 has orange leather seats which are known as Magma Red and more decorative stitch lines. It also has an orange center console with door inserts and other styled-up accessories in comparison to stiff body Toyota. BMW has spacious headroom from the top while in the upper trims it is roofless BMW.
