Bugatti La Voiture Noire

The La Voiture Noire is currently the most expensive new car ever built. Though, neither the figures of its making nor the identity of its owner is known, the rumors of its cost rests around a total of $19 million.

The La Voiture Noire — which literally means “the black car” in French — is powered by the same quad-turbocharged, 8.0-liter W16 engine found in Chiron with a 1,500 whooping horsepower to the four wheels. A one of its kind black masterpiece, it is a combination of speed, technology, luxury, and beauty.


$13 million — Rolls-Royce Sweptail

Another luxury hole in the pocket, this two seater masterpiece project from Rolls Royce took almost five years to the finish which very well explains its cost.

The car has a carved back and a glass ceiling that goes along the wheel to the trunks. This unique luxury yacht inspired car has a maximum speed of 150 mph and is the second most expensive car ever.

Its design draws inspiration from the brand’s classic models while borrowing styling cues from the world of super-yachts.

$8 million — Mercedes-Benz Maybach Exelero

A prominent feature of this car is used for the unique carbon fiber for the car that makes it sparkle like diamonds under sun rays.

Difficult to both build and afford, only two of these unique model have been produced. The car features a unique double carbon rear wing, Inconel exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, airbags, paddle-shift, Chrono instrument cluster, infotainment system, tire monitoring system and a hydraulic lifting system with a 700 hp, twin-turbo V12 and luxurious amenities. The Exelero costs around $10.1 million.

$4.8 million — Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

What makes this car so expensive is this that the car is literally coated in diamonds., thus renowned around the globe for its uniqueness and perfection. One of the fastest rides on the planet, its speed reaches 254 miles per hour. Here is a small list of its performance-

  • 0-200 km/h 8.75 sec. 0-200-0 km/h 13.55 sec.
  • Top Speed: 410+ km/h (254+ mph)

Underneath the lustrous finish lies a 4.8-liter, dual-supercharged V8 with a total output of 1,004 horsepower and 797 pound-feet of torque. The white carbon fibre used for the Trevita made the car extremely difficult and time consuming to manufacture because of which the number of Trevitas made were just two-three.

$4.5 million — Lamborghini Veneno

Built to celebrate the automaker’s 50th birthday, the car is absolutely stunning from every angle and undeniably unreal. The only thing more remarkable than the look is the price which is $4.5 million. The Veneno is fast., its 6.5-liter V12 spins all the way up to 8,400 rpm to deliver 740 hp and 507 lb-ft, accelerating the car to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds.

$3.4 Million — W Motors Lykan Hypersport

Let’s start with the styling, which includes jewel-covered headlights, scissor doors, and an amazing interior and a hand crafted carbon fiber body with an overall timeless look.

The car has great design and outstanding specifications. The twin-turbo mid-rear 3.8 liters flat-six boxer produce 780 horsepower through the rear wheels, and a 708 pound-feet of torque. What’s more? It was featured as the hero car- to be the most expensive car ever featured in The Fast & The Furious Franchise. Its high speed peaks at 60mph in 2.8 seconds and can reach 240mph.

$3.4 million — Limited Edition Bugatti Veyron by Mansory Vivere

One of the fastest cars in the world, it’s also one of the most expensive cars in the world. The company built just two of them, each with a gorgeous carbon-fiber accented exterior, a black and white leather-and-carbon cabin, and a 1,200 Veyron engine underneath. Oh, and it can go about 254 mph which is 408 kilometers per hour.

Further classifying the Veyron as a masterpiece, maps of historic race events like the Targa Florio are laser etched into the exterior and interior. Too much of art, isn’t it?

$3 million — Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio

With a price of $3 million it might not be the most expensive one but it is one of the most highly desired vehicles in the world, as only six of these were ever produced.

The Sergio is chiefly a Ferrari 458 Spider with an entirely exterior and interior. That means 4.5-liter V8 sends a 562 hp to the rear wheels, but because the Sergio is lighter than the 458, it’s quicker and handles better.
